How to set?
General advice for achieving maximum results

Our traps work best when hung up to 4ft from the ground. Hanging over this is fine but may limit the effectiveness of the trap.

The bait must always be moist and smelly. If you're using a homemade bait solution then you must make sure it's a foul smell so it draws flies away from your animals.

Trap not filling up? Try moving it to a different location. Many times, we've seen traps on the same farm/ranch fill up quickly but some not so quickly, be sure to constantly test areas of your property where you think there are high levels of fly activity.
